Описание: #ICYMI: Earlier today, MOWI was on the ground in La Brea!

The Honourable Jearlean John, Minister of Works and Infrastructure, alongside technical experts from the Ministry, visited La Brea to assess sites requiring infrastructural intervention.

The Minister and her team were accompanied by the Honourable Clyde Elder, MP for La Brea, and Mr. Javed Mohammed, Councillor for Otaheite/Roussilac. The Minister also took the opportunity to speak with members of the community NGO, No Youth Left Behind, to learn about their work and how upgraded infrastructure will improve lives in this community.

• High Road

The Minister and the team also met with officials of Lake Asphalt Trinidad and Tobago (1978) Limited for preliminary discussions on the sustainable management of the Pitch Lake and strategies to ensure the future viability of this entity.
