Knight Frank Index Report shows that Kenyan economy is growing steadily

Описание: The Kenyan economy is said to have expanded by 5.7% in the first quarter of 2018 compared to 4.8% in a similar period in 2017. This is according to a report by knight frank Kenya which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The company has urged investors to tone down the construction of malls which they feel are headed for a glut. The report notes improvement in the property market including the absorption of grade and grade b office space which is up by 12% that has been greatly contributed by political recovery. Prime residential prices increased by 0.4% while prime residential rents rose by 0.33%. Nairobi is pointed out as a regional hub in the African continent, competing with Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.
