Fuji is concerned about the cultural amnesia that his people is currently experiencing. Because of colonisation, the rich ancient knowledge of Panay and the peoples connection with its' precolonial roots is slowly eroding and it is continuing to diminish because these cultural knowledge is not openly taught in school.
The name of the village is: Garangan, Calinog, ILOILO in Panay island Philippines.
The name of the old man chanter is : Leopoldo Caballero of Panay Bukidnon Tribe.
Fuji Marbas Teodosio, an artist/healer who is originally from Banga, Aklan, Panay island, Philippines. He now resides in Northern N.S.W. in Australia.
