Misc. notes 📝
This is probably the most research-heavy project I’ve ever worked on. Probably took me a good 80-85 hours to complete from start to finish.
Furthermore, this was BY FAR the most CHALLENGING script to narrate. These European names with the fancy throat “R”…
I originally included a blooper reel at the end (so that you guys could laugh at my 34,482,639 attempts at “Frédéric Chopin”) but it would’ve ruined my end screen setup. I had to crop it out in YT studio. ☹️
There are quite a few scenes in here that are either 100% AI generated (like the opening shot), or animated via generative video models (like the composer photographs).
Additionally, the music accompanying Bernstein’s segment was also AI generated. Of course, I would’ve preferred to use his original music, but seeing as how he died relatively recently (1990), his works are still very much under copyright.
For more insights into my work, feel free to follow me @second_bassoon on 𝕏.
Around a year ago, I made a post on my first channel @secondchairmusic about how Rossini had the best hair of all composers. Turns out he wore a toupee for most of his life, as his hair fell out due to complications from gonorrhea…💀💀
