Pune Satara Highway Upgrade Brings Wider Service Roads and Safer Travel

The National Highways Authority of India has resurfaced key stretches of the main carriageway and widened service roads from two lanes to three lanes at multiple locations. Around 40 kilometres of service roads have been expanded to a width of 10.5 metres wherever land availability allowed.
This improvement is already helping divert local traffic, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers away from the main highway, reducing accident risks and improving traffic flow during peak hours 🚦.
