If you’re planning to visit Bali at the end of the year, you’ll need to make peace with the rainy season. During this time, rain can fall for most of the day, but based on our walking experience around Bali, there are often breaks of one, two, or even three clear days in between.

We were lucky during our visit to Seminyak, as the weather turned beautifully clear. The sun was shining as we approached sunset at Petitenget Beach. The beach was busy, yet calm and relaxed — no loud music, just a peaceful seaside atmosphere as visitors enjoyed the rare clear weather.

From the beach, we continued to the Petitenget Parking Lot, which was packed with vehicles as tourists took advantage of the sunny afternoon. We then walked towards Kayu Aya Street, also widely known as Eat Street, passing through Petitenget Main Street, Kayu Jati Street, and Kayu Cendana Street.

Eat Street is famous for its long line of restaurants and cafés, making it a popular spot for tourists looking for food and a relaxed evening stroll. This afternoon, the street was lively with people walking in both directions, clearly enjoying the pleasant weather. The clear skies definitely lifted the mood and made walking around Seminyak even more enjoyable.
