I'm getting a bit emotional just typing this description because I genuinely can't believe the day has come (or that it even is happening). As a lot of you may know, or those of you who enjoy reading my descriptions, last October (2024) I made my first candle for fun. The hobby immediately sparked something inside of me and I was excited to make more. You know when you find a really good video game that just itches every single corner of your brain that makes you addicted to get better and invest your entire life and love into it? I never thought I'd experience that sensation with an irl tangible hobby.

As I shared my candles, people in the community and in my life would mention wanting to have some of their own. So then in November of 2024, I started having my candles up for sale. These candles weren't perfect, and the shipping and packaging resulted in them being delivered in varying conditions (bless all you early believers). I pushed through to make every order right, and to learn from my mistakes. Since then, not a day has gone by where I haven't worked to improve my candles, my craft, and all the systems that keep things running strong. Candles are all I could talk or think about every video, every stream, every interaction. (My friends and family claim that I've turned part candle). I'm not too sure what it is about candles... maybe it's what they represent, maybe it's the fact that I'm creating something tangible, maybe it's the joy and warmth that they bring to peoples lives... maybe it's everything combined and more. It's something so simple. But simple is beautiful.

I wanted to take this passion project to the next level and create a candle business. I thought of the name Gentle Flame and got to work learning about all the legalities and logistics that go in to creating a handmade candle business. This went on for basically my entire 2025 up until now and I'm so proud and excited to announce that Gentle Flame is finally becoming a reality. I've learned a lot, had to grow a lot as a person, and am honored I get to take you along with me. (Like I'm actually so excited to just update you all and for you to see my website and branding). 🥹 Not to get too cheesy, but it genuinely feels like a dream come true, like the stars aligned 🤍 It allows me to continue my love for ASMR while growing an adjacent passion project.
