Join me for a look at a truly unique dealer’s haul, headlined by a pair of Arcimboldesque shellwork figures dating back to around 1800. These rare folk art pieces are joined by a substantial Victorian copper fireside bin from approximately 1880. We also delve into the rich heritage of Welsh folk art, looking at a traditional love spoon.
The discovery continues with a selection of fine walking sticks, including a hallmarked 1921 James Smith & Sons example and a Victorian pointer dog head carving. I’ll also be sharing a rare collection of 1930s oil paintings by artist Paul Brokenshaw, alongside a quick look at some new studio pottery arrivals by M B Young.
Throughout the video, I’ll talk through the history, rarity, and market value of each item to show you why these specific pieces are so highly sought after by collectors right now.
