Now who would have thought that the first Classic Mega Man game I'd cover would be the last Classic Mega Man game on the NES! If you don't know who Mega Man is at this point then you have really been living under a ROCK MAN... He's also known as the blue bomber and is a robot created by Dr. Light (or Right in Japan) that fights against the Robot Masters usually created by Dr. Wily to take over the world. Whenever he defeats a Robot Master he gains the ability of said Robot Master which makes Mega Man a very versatile fighter! It's always difficult to choose a favorite out of the first 6 games cause they're all good in my opinion but Mega Man 6 really stands out to me. The graphics look great, the level design is fun and engaging and don't even get me started about the music. I was in no RUSH to get this done on time since I almost immediately started working on this after the last one and it was a lot of fun! Mega Man music has got to be the most ROCK & ROLL soundtracks ever on the NES. Words can't even describe how good the soundtracks for these games are to me. It's so good it should be it's own category! Mega Man 6 in particular focuses more on slower tempos and less frantic music in comparison to previous games but still very action packed and I think it's something that really works well! Songs like 'Blizzard Man' or 'Yamato Man' or 'Dr. Wily's Stage' are some of my favorites to play and listen to. What are your favorites songs from this game? Let me know in the comments!
