A calm wander through Tenby, one of Wales’ most beloved coastal towns, known for its pastel houses, sweeping beaches, and rich medieval history. This walk captures Tenby’s quieter side — its sheltered lanes, old stone walls, and sea-scented streets — all wrapped in that unmistakable Pembrokeshire charm.

🕰️ Highlights, History & Local Lore
Tenby began as a medieval walled town, and those ancient defences still rise above the harbour today, their weathered stones telling stories of sieges, trade, and centuries of ship traffic. The North and South Beaches, famous for their golden sand and endless views, frame the town with a dramatic natural backdrop, shifting in colour and mood with the tide and weather.

At the heart of Tenby is its distinctive harbour, a cluster of pastel-coloured townhouses overlooking the fishing boats and tidal shoreline. Built on a rocky outcrop, the harbour once thrived as a busy trading port, and hints of that maritime past remain in the narrow steps, worn slipways, and old storage arches carved into the cliff.

The walk winds through quiet backstreets lined with independent shops, Georgian houses, and tucked-away courtyards before opening onto broad sea views. You’ll spot St Mary’s Church, one of the largest parish churches in Wales, with medieval carvings and centuries of local history inside its cool stone walls.

🖥️ Editing
I use DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 for basic colour correction, mainly to tone down overexposed skies. The videos go straight from camera to YouTube—no cuts, no talking, no fancy business. Just walking.
