Rosheuvel: "Adjoa was very established when I was coming out as a young artist of color, and she was one of the artists that I really looked up to. And had that feeling of, yeah, if you can see it, you can believe it in yourself, you know? But 'Bridgerton' is our first time, actually, sharing the screen together."
Andoh: "Sharing a story together."
Rosheuvel: "Yeah, which really phenomenal as actresses of color, in this day and age, as actress at a certain age as well. It's really wonderful to be celebrating that kind of thing."
2. SOUNDBITE (English) Adjoa Andoh, actor
"So I think we're conscious of that, that we're doing a new thing. We're making a new pathway for the way stories are told. So there's a sort of responsibility to that as well, to give it all our years of experience and skill and put that all on the screen.
