(20 Nov 2013) The President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Rutte is in Jakarta for a three-day official visit.
He travelled with more than one hundred Dutch company representatives.
During the meeting, Indonesia and the Netherlands launched a joint declaration on comprehensive partnerships, a framework aimed at boosting co-operation both political and economically between the two countries.
"Today marks an important milestone in the relations between our two countries. By launching the joint declaration on the comprehensive partnership, the Netherlands and Indonesia are expressing their wish to build a forward looking partnership between people," said Rutte.
The Netherlands is Indonesia's second biggest trading partner in Europe.
