KOVA ¬ GEOGRAPHIC TOOLS (La Veronal @ ONE DANCE WEEK 2016)

The show will be played on October 29 at 19:30 in Boris Hristov House of Culture (Plovdiv / Bulgaria).

KOVA ¬ GEOGRAPHIC TOOLS is a result of longtime searches of choreographer Marcos Morau who creates the repertoire of La Veronal willing to "unbewitch" the mysterious geography of the human body and movements. In his artistic searches he is developing a new code of movements called KOVA, consisting of rules and coordinating and through which the language of choreography is been orientated.
The play focuses on the pure dynamics of the movement generated by KOVA and portrays the physical plasticity stripping the dance off the additional layers of dramaturgy. The audience is facing a rich, complex choreographic panorama that is devoid of clichés and preset shapes.
Marcos Morau has won numerous awards from national and international competitions. In La Veronal artists from various disciplines cooperate in creating new techniques and in studying cultural references from various areas.
