My RAREST Shiny Yet! - Shiny Jirachi in Pokemon Ruby after 7,693 resets

Описание: A shiny I never thought I'd get legitimately - Shiny Jirachi from the US Colosseum Bonus Disc!!! This is easily in my top 5 shinies found, easily. I'm so happy to add this to my collection. I love the pink hue on the body, it looks incredible.

There was always a lot of doubt about whether this could be hunted or not. I feel like we've made a lot of progress in recent years as to what is attainable and who knows what else there is to discover. I've had this bonus disc for the best part of a decade now and I have used Jirachi several times in casual playthroughs. It's very broken but very fun. This shiny is #1 for my new Ruby Dream Team Quest.

I initially started this hunt with the standard method of playing through the game and getting the dex. I did around 500 encounters with it but being honest, it was like pulling teeth. I only single hunt my targets so I wanted to try the faster method. I also wanted to avoid an uncatchable as I can't stand the concept of uncatchable shinies. There's a chance of a random shiny starter I guess but I'd much rather avoid the uncatchable.
