[Camping Vlog #3] Long Ke Wan Sai Kung Beach | How I Spent The Night In Hong Kong's Best Beach

Описание: Long Ke Wan is a beach in the Sai Kung Country Park. Hong Kong is not very well known for its beaches, but this one is lauded as one of CNN Travel's best beaches in the world! Filled with soft white sand, clear waters, and beatiful hiking trails around, it is one of the favorite beach and camping sites around.

On this day, I went camping with a new group of friends. It was a different experience than the one I'm used to where more activities were planned such as frisbee, beach volleyball, football, free zumba classes, and more! A downside however is that there are no amenities on this beach. Bad weather continues to follow me, but I share a few photos from a previous visit.

To get to Long Ke Wan Beach in Sai Kung:
1. Take bus no. 94 departing from Sai Kung town centre or bus no. 96R departing from Diamond Hill MTR station (weekends and public holidays only) and get off just after Pak Tam Chung. Proceed to do the MacLehose Stage 1 hike and through the High Island Reservoir, East Dam.

2. Take a taxi from Saikung Town Center directly to High Island Reservoir, East Dam (~120HKD). From the reservoir, do a short 15mins hike following the trail signs.

3. Book a speedboat from Sai Kung Town Center (150hkd per person) to Long Ke Wan Beach.
