Watch this beautiful early morning bus journey from Pune to Kolhapur by Konduskar Travels Volvo B8R bus in heavy rain. There are two buses that run on daytime, one is at 7 am and the second is at 2:30 pm. The journey time is approx 5 hours and the distance is approx. 230 kms. The fare is 600 rupees. I booked the 7 am bus so that I could cover the day journey and then have time to rest for the rest of the day. You really get to the see the beautiful western ghat like the Khambatki Ghat and the beautiful NH 48. The monsoon and the heavy rain makes the weather even more pleasing and a treat for all the travellers.
