All-inclusive trips truly take the stress out of planning itineraries, as every day was packed with fun events right on the resort property. For those seeking to explore the city and country, we recommend booking hotels and planning meals and activities accordingly.

During our trip, we spent five amazing days within the resort, immersing ourselves in its offerings, and then dedicated two days to venturing out to the captivating cities of Varadero and Havana. It was the perfect balance, giving us the best of both worlds.

To help you plan your own adventure to Cuba, here are some key pointers:

👉 🌞 Optimal travel time: Consider planning your trip between October and April for the best weather, as these months are ideal for visiting Caribbean countries.

💫📲 Limited internet connectivity: Keep in mind that consistent internet access may be challenging. While our hotel provided us with a wifi password, it only worked for a few hours before disconnecting automatically.

💢 💰 in CAD or USD: Cuban people appreciate tips in Canadian Dollars (CAD) or US Dollars (USD), so there's no need to convert all your currency. Just carry around CAD 20, and you'll be good throughout your stay.

🥫🧂Add some flavour: Cuban cuisine tends to be relatively mild, so it's a good idea to bring along your favourite condiments if you prefer bolder tastes.

Cuba is truly a remarkable country, and we're confident you'll fall in love with it. The people are friendly, polite, and it's known as one of the safest countries in the world, allowing you to explore with peace of mind.
