On Thursday we braved the cold weather and snowy roads to visit Penn Station East Coast Subs in Owensboro, KY. All local stores have recently been remodeled, and their 3023 Highland Pointe Dr. location is the most recent to have been completed. They also had two specials that they wanted us to check out - the first being the introduction of Cheddar Cheese Dippers. These will be available nationwide as a permanent menu item and are a great pairing for the fresh cut french fries. During the visit we sampled 2 cold deli classics and 2 warm sandwiches off the grill ⬇️
➡️ Club – smoke ham , oven. Roasted turkey, thick cut smoked bacon, swiss cheese, mayo and honey mustard.
➡️ Classic Italian – smoked ham, hard salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce, red onion, roma tomatos, banana peppers, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar and oregano.
