► This video contains all the cutscenes in the video game Grandia II. Grandia II is a role-playing video game developed by Game Arts originally for the Dreamcast console as part of their Grandia series. The game was later ported to the Sony PlayStation 2. The game is set in a fantasy world thousands of years after a battle between Granas, the god of light, and Valmar, the god of darkness, nearly destroyed the planet until Valmar was split into pieces and scattered across the land. In the aftermath of the battle, the Church of Granas has led humanity to prosperity by spreading the word of good, but when a young mercenary named Ryudo is charged to protect a songstress from the church named Elena, their journey reveals that the church's history, as well as the history of the world, is not all it seems. As much as I enjoyed this game, it went on for WAY too long. The cast was great and all, but Grandia Xtreme is and will always be my favorite Grandia series. Another thing I didn't like about this game was that it had voice acting in it, but through 70 percent of the game, you're going to have to read the dialogues yourself. Like, if a game is going to have voice acting, VOICE ACT the whole game not small bits of it. There were SO many moments in the game where I felt the voice acting would have helped the scene more. Just like with Grandia Xtreme, not only does this video contain cutscenes within the game, but it also includes gameplay snippets mixed in with cutscenes. As well as some of the boss battles. I also must apologize for the shadow effects that are present in the game through the video, it shouldn't distract from the overall viewing experience. Enjoy! Working on a Matrix game movie now :)
