Half Face respirators/gas masks VS Full Face respirators/Gas Masks.
Half face masks have the advantage of being compact, lightweight and unobtrusive, they are often cheap to buy, even for brand new models.
Full face respirators offer a better level of protection however as they cover all of the face and eyes. The filters for them are normally bulkier but last longer. Unless you purchase surplus masks, full face gas masks tend to be very expensive as well, sometimes ten times the price of a new half face mask.
