Tried an easy, no alcohol method – turned out soft and rich.

Rich & Soft Plum Cake recipe at home 🎄🍰
No alcohol | Perfect Christmas cake | Easy baking method

Ingredients:
Maida – 1½ cups
Milk powder – 2 tbsp
Butter – ½ cup (113 g)
Sugar – ¾ cup
1/2 -cup milk
• 1/2 cup sugar for caramel
• ¼ cup sugar for wet mixture

Dry fruits (soaked overni ಗೆght in orange juice – ½ cup):
Black & white raisins, cherries, cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, muskmelon seeds, dates

Spice powder (powdered with a pinch of sugar):
Cinnamon – small piece
Nutmeg – small piece
Cardamom – 2
Cloves – 2

Ginger powder – 1 tsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – ¼ tsp
Salt – a pinch
Vanilla essence – as needed

Method:
• Make caramel with 1/2 cup sugar and keep aside
• melted butter & sugar well
• Add caramel, vanilla essence
• Add soaked dry fruits with orange juice
• Add all dry ingredients and mix gently
• Transfer to lined cake tin

Baking:
Preheat oven at 170°C
Bake for 40–45 minutes

Soft, rich and flavourful homemade plum cake is ready 🎂
