Tarleton High School - Lancashire - J Block Demolition

Описание: This is my old High School. I left there in 1985. It was demolished in July and August of 2023. Were you a pupil? What memories do you have? Feel free to share and comment. I have much more detailed walkaround footage coming soon. I managed to film all the other buildings and I hope that when I publish the footage it will bring back memories for you, good or bad, happy or sad. More and more of our past is disappearing.. Thanks to Pink Floyd for the music. This song was in the charts very close to the time I started High School. Personally I enjoyed the later years especially the 5th year when we were all beginning to mature to young adults. On the whole it was happy memories for me. Sad to see the original buildings get demolished. I have filmed the other blocks and swimming pool. Its quite exciting to see and very evocative. I also have audio tape recordings of my last classes, I brought a tape recorder and stills camera into school for the last few days in 1985.I have recorded some of my last lessons on audio tape.
