For several years in the 1990s, volunteer crews from BNN-TV, Boston's public access TV station, videotaped the Ford Hall Forum's fall and spring lecture series. I served on many of those crews, and from 1994 to 1997 I was the Series Producer. For most of those years we used a 3-camera production van, recording onto 3/4" videotape. Towards the end, however, we switched over to using just two stand-alone SVHS camcorders.

During the fall 2000 presidential election campaigns, then as BNN-TV's cablecast manager I rebroadcast many of these programs, packaged as "The Clinton Years: A Retrospective."

Now, with the Forum's kind permission, I've digitized these programs and uploaded them to YouTube. This Google Doc Spreadsheet - http://bit.ly/FHF-90s - lists these programs in chronological order and links to their YouTube videos. The tapes that were digitized for this YouTube series were a mix of VHS and SVHS copies, some made on a home VCR from the cablecasts. Thus, the quality of their video signals varies quite a bit from program to program.
