Rezultatul secolelor de transformari, Cetatea Fagarasului este in prezent unul dintre cele mai bine conservate monumente feudale din Romania si de asemenea din Europa. Cetatea Fagarasului este inconjurata de doua seturi de ziduri si un sant adânc , motiv pentru care nu a fost niciodata cucerita.

The result of centuries of transformations, the Fagaras Fortress is nowadays one of the best conserved feudal monuments in Romania and also in Europe. The Fagaras Fortress is surrounded by two sets of walls and a moat, which is why it has never been conquered.
