Dal Bati Churma is a classic recipe from the state of Rajasthan.This is an easy recipe but is so worth it,For its rich and delicious.You can make it for lunch or dinner and it fills you up nicely.The best part is that you don't even need an oven or tandoor!
Ingredients:
Serves:7-8 people
Batis
Whole wheat flour(Atta) - 4 Cups
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Baking Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Melted Ghee - 1/2 Cup
Water - as required to make dough
Extra Ghee - for dipping
Churma
Batis - 4 to 5
Ghee - 2 Tbsp
Elaichi(Cardamom)Powder - 1 Tsp
Powdered Sugar - 3 Tbsp
Dal
Toor Dal - 1 Cup
Broken Moong Dal(with skin) - 1/2 Cup
Chana Dal - 1/2 Cup(Soaked for 30 mins)
Green Chillies - 4 Nos.(Slit)
Tomato- 1 No.(Chopped)
Onions - 2 Nos.(Finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
Fresh Coriander
Water - 4 Cups
Oil - 2 Tsp
Ghee - 2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds - 2 Tsp
Jeera - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder and Salt - to taste
