Описание: OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) Neighbor Adjacency States:

DOWN, ATTEMPT, INIT, 2-WAY, EXSTART, EXCHANGE, LOADING, and FULL

Down: In this state, routers have not yet established a neighbor relationship. They are not communicating or sharing routing information.

Init: After discovering a potential neighbor, routers enter the Init state. They send Hello packets to each other but have not yet confirmed the compatibility of their OSPF settings.

2-Way: Once routers in the Init state agree on parameters and acknowledge each other's Hello packets, they move to the 2-Way state. In this state, they have established a two-way communication and are ready to proceed with the OSPF neighbor relationship establishment.

Exstart: Once the exchange between the routers get started, both the routers move to the

Exstart: In this state, master and slave are selected based on the router's id. The master controls the sequence of numbers, and starts the exchange process.

Exchange: In the exchange state, both the routers send a list of LSAs to each other that contain a database description.

Loading: On the loading state, the LSR, LSU, and LSA are exchanged.

Full: The Full state is the desired final state. Routers in this state have fully established a neighbor relationship, exchanged routing information, and are actively participating in the OSPF routing process. They are now ready to forward OSPF routing updates and make routing decisions.
