If you are building your own house or garage, you might run into an issue lining up facia heights. In this video I use a foolproof method, after messing up once, to figure the heel heights of two different rafters so that the facia boards come out even. This is a useful technique for stick framing roofs! My best advice with any figuring is to double check yourself! I mess up enough to know! They key to building good homes isn’t never making a mistake... it’s being patient enough to fix the mistakes you make.
