UK-based SUPERBLIMP is an award-winning creative production studio specialising in photorealistic 3D animation, visual effects, immersive, concept development & storytelling, and creating content for ambitious brands who need feature film quality visuals, with a focus in product, technology & entertainment.

In this insightful 3D animation customer process video, we show you some of the process of our work for industry-leading technology company DJI, which was created for the launch of their Mavic 2 Drone. Here we show you some of the techniques we used when creating the 3d animation & VFX, which included photorealistic close-ups, exploded views, beautiful cinematography, VFX compositing, concept development and full production of feature film quality CG environments and robots.

We created over 30 shots and sequences, each requiring different approaches, with some either full CG sequences of the Mavic 2 flying through Sci-fi themed environments, and others needed to show the Mavic 2 CG assets composited into filmed footage.

The product introduction alone received more than 9 million views on YouTube, doubling the exposure of Mavic Air, DJI's previous iteration in the product line.
