Hello, traveler. Today, I have set up camp in the Varazan Desert, the greatest sea of sand on the entire continent of Zantus. By day, its dunes burn like molten gold, and by night, the cold bites harder than any blade. Beyond the horizon rise the Azmir Mountains, jagged crowns of stone that watch over the sands like ancient gods.

Varazan is never empty. Monsters stalk beneath the dunes, tribes follow old paths known only to their elders, and merchants gamble their lives for silk, spice, and coin. Wanderers and travelers cross these sands chasing prophecy, fortune, or escape—though many find only bones and silence.

Remember this, friends: Varazan does not care who you are. It only remembers who survives.
