Description: onboard footage from Germanwings A320 EW461 from London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) to Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN/EDDK).
Flight report: Boarding started promptly at around 0845 and was completed by 0905. The aircraft was only half full. We pushed back at 0916 and soon after began our taxi to runway 09R. We joined the queue where we waited for 5 minute before entering the runway to line up for takeoff. Takeoff was smooth and very short. We initially turned left then right out of Heathrow heading ESE. We flew over South London, then Kent and across the English channel. Our cruising altitude was 31,000ft. Flight time 53 minutes. We crossed over Belgium where we began our descent. We approached from the NW for runway 14L. Our final approach took us over the city of Cologne and was very turbulent. We landed hard on the runway and came to a rapid halt. We vacated the runway and began our taxi to our stand. We pulled onto stand B10 and waited a few minutes for the stairs to be attached.
