Stock Number: 1232 - 1972 Trans AM 455 HO - This is a Lucerne Blue Trans AM with its numbers matching 455 HO Engine and a 4 speed manual Transmission. There were only 458 of these built in 1972 and even less when you factor in the color. How many can actually be left in restored condition? It is arguably the most desirable color of the early TA's. They are considered one of the most collectible 2nd Generation Firebird's built. Quality examples are very hard to find due to the Factory Strike that halted production and sent a ton of F-Body's to the crusher. This example was Sold New at Clohecy Pontiac in Detroit, MI. It was restored a few years ago with several upgrades since then. The suspension is a Brand New including all new steering components, spring and shocks. The rear-end has been completely rebuilt with a new posi unit, gear set, seals and bearings. The brake system and Magnaflow exhaust are also new and fully serviced.
