[4K] OMEGA McDonnell Douglas KDC10 Takeoff at Prestwick Airport | Operartion Atlantic Eagles 2025

Описание: On September 26th, 2025, after being parked up for over a week at Prestwick. An Omega KDC10 tanker departed Prestwick bound for Goose Bay. It was tanking Japanese F15s back across the pond, as part of Operation Atlantic Eagles. A historic exericse where the Japanese Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) particpcated with European and US forces for the first time in Europe.
They sent F15s over occupied by two of their KC46/767 tankers. The Omega KDC10 assisted in tanking them across the Atlantic both ways. Here it is departing Prestwick fully loaded with fuel, and using up most of the runway. Great to see a KDC10 back, the last visit was a USAF one in 2024, but they have since retired them.
