Korea's finance ministry says the domestic economic recovery is gathering momentum... despute lingering global economic uncertainties,... which are casting a cloud over what would otherwise represent an optimistic outlook.
In its monthly Green Book report released Wednesday,... the ministry said major economic indicators like production and investment improved last October and November,... compared to the third quarter of last year.
It also cited stabilizing prices and expanding employment.
However, the report also pointed to the weak Japanese yen and the U.S. Federal Reserve's bond-buying stimulus tapering as major uncertainties... that could hurt the nation's growth rate in the long run.
