In this message, we explore why God’s standard is perfection, why every one of us stands guilty, and why good works can never erase sin. Christianity is unique because it doesn’t tell us to try harder—it tells us we can’t save ourselves.
That’s why Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection matter.
Jesus steps into our courtroom, takes our guilt upon Himself at the cross, and offers us His righteousness in return. Salvation isn’t earned by works—it’s received by trusting in His finished work.
As Paul says, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:17)
