An elegant song composed by French composer Michel Legrand. The lyrics were written by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman. It was the main theme for the 1971 American film "Summer of '42", which features a teenage boy who came across a woman older than him and fell in love with her during his summer vacation. Legrand won an Academic Award for Best Original Dramatic Score of that year for this song. It has been covered and recorded by many artists, both as popular music and jazz. We performed it as a vocal version, inserting scat, bass solo, and piano solo in the middle.
フランスの作曲家ミシェル・ルグランが作った優美な曲。歌詞はアラン・バーグマンとマリリン・バーグマンにより書かれました。10代の少年が夏休みに偶然出会った年上の女性に恋するさまを描く1971年のアメリカ映画『おもいでの夏』（原題『1942年の夏』）の主題歌です。ルグランはこの曲でこの年のアカデミー賞作曲賞を受賞しました。ポピュラー音楽としてもジャズとしても多くのアーティストによってカバーされ、録音されています。私たちはボーカル付きの曲として演奏し、中盤にスキャット、ベースソロ、ピアノソロの部分を入れてみました。
