Police check post comes under armed assault, two officers hurt
Armed attackers attacked a police check post in the Town Chak area of Shikarpur. According to the police, two officers were injured in the firing. The injured officers have been identified as Mashooq Baloch and Rahib Ali, who were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. Upon receiving the information, a large contingent of police reached the scene and cordoned off the area. According to sources, the attackers also managed to loot government weapons from the officers and fled, while operations are ongoing to track down the suspects.
