We obtained the corneal segments for CAIRS with the Visumax femtosecond laser in order not to be dependent on the standard size of punch trephines. In this way, we were able to obtain corneal allogenic ring segments with the desired thickness and width, with a Bowman layer. We tapered the end ends of the allogenic segments we obtained to suit the desired correction.
