This video presents, in chronological order, covers followed by a few related interior pages, plus a story summary, for Supergirl No. 1 to No. 23, published from 1982 to 1984.

For Issue No. 1 - Supergirl, as Linda Danvers, moves to Chicago to begin a new life as a student at Lake Shore University.

She gets a new home there and makes new friends and also meets a new villain in "A Very Strange and Special Girl."

For Issue No. 2 - Supergirl continues her battle with Psi, a girl with powerful abilities who has been brainwashed into believing that Chicago must die, and also deals with her new friends where she is rooming in "Crisis Over Chicago."

For Issue No. 3 - Supergirl gets a job as a secretary for one of the faculty advisors at Lake Shore University and also has to deal with a villain named Decay who can destroy with a touch in "Decay Day."

For Issue No. 4 - A team of super-villains known as Kong, Mesmer, Bulldozer and Brains, who make up the Gang, strike, and Supergirl has to deal with them and a visit from her parents in "Hail, Hail, the Gangs All Here."

For Issue No. 5 - The gang has mesmerized Supergirl into believing that she is in danger of exposing her secret identity.

So she has to conquer that fear in order to defeat the Gang in "Fear Times Four."

For Issue No. 6 - Brains, a member of the Gang, has managed to elude Supergirl and, while fleeing, discovers a secret operation which includes a giant robot that has attacked Chicago's O'Hare Airport.

So it's up to Supergirl to save the day in "Battleground O'Hare."

For Issue No. 7 - After a battle with a giant robot at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, Supergirl discovers that the robot came from a secret underwater complex and investigates in "This Meeting Will Come to Disorder."

For Issue No. 8 - The New Doom Patrol have their hands full with Reactron, and Supergirl can only look on in "Stand-ins for Supergirl"!

For Issue No. 9 - With the new Doom Patrol as gust stars in this issue, Supergirl battles Reactron, the Living Reactor who is able to command all forms of radiation.

And stopping Reactron may be fatal to Supergirl in "Re- Enter: Reactron."

For Issue No. 10 - Supergirl's battle with Reactron has left her weak and ill with a deadly form of radiation poisoning.

And that leads to her capture for a special experiment in " Radiation-Fever."

For Issue No. 11 - The Organization's Project Redundant, an attempt to create duplicates of Supergirl, is a success, except for the fact that the duplicates are smaller versions of Supergirl.

And Supergirl, still trying to deal with the radiation poisoning sickness, may not be able to handle those duplicates in "A Dark and Frozen Purgatory."

For Issue No. 12 - Having found a way to cure the radiation poisoning, Supergirl now has to deal with the duplicates of herself and the Organization in " Guess Who's About To Die."

For Issue No. 13 - One-year anniversay issue in which Supergirl gets a new costume and also has to help a neighbor, Mrs. Berkowitz who is being threatened by a group of fanatics with a leader who may be more than she appears in "Echoes of Times Gone By."

For Issue No. 14 - The leader of a group of fanatics is revealed to be a powerful super-being known as Blackstarr, whom Supergirl has to battle.

Things get even more complicated when Supergirl's friend, Mrs. Berkowitz, discovers a secret about Blackstarr in "Starlight, Star Bright--Blackstarr Rises Tonight."

Now on to Supergirl movie information, while an alphabetical series of potential future Supergirl live action movie female co-stars on comic book covers, featuring Stanley "Artgerm" Lau art, is presented.

There was a Supergirl movie in 1984, with Helen Slater starring as Supergirl, and Sasha Calle played Supergirl in the 2023 The Flash movie.

Supergirl has also been on TV: notably with Laura Vandervoort playing her in the seventh season of Smallville; and Melissa Benoist playing her in the Supergirl TV show that started in 2015.

Milly Alcock played Supergirl in the 2025 Superman movie, and will also play her in the 2026 Supergirl movie, for which she travels across the galaxy on a murderous quest for revenge.

James Gunn and Peter Safran produced the 2025 movie and are also producing the 2026 movie.
