Athens City Tour Including Acropolis and Museum - Three Continent Adventure

Описание: It is almost cruise time... but first, we are getting a full guided tour of the City of Athens! We all board a giant pink bus and are on our way! First stop is the original grounds of the first modern Olympics of 1896! Then, all events were held in one stadium. Now we have separate stadiums and arenas for every different sport. Then we just make it to the Parliament Building for the hourly Changing of the Guard. And our last, and most majestic stop, the Acropolis! We begin the walk up, which you think you will never make it to the top. Then when you do, it is breathtaking! Not only to see the city from the highest point but to see the Parthenon and other temples and think of the thousands of people over thousands of years who made the same climb you just did. Wow! You are literally walking in history! Speaking of history, the last stop was the nearby Acropolis Museum which houses all of the artifacts found during the excavation of the Acropolis over many years. And the coolest thing is that it is built over a ruin site and all of the floors are glass so you can see the ruins below.
