Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's plot follows cyborg ninja Raiden working for Maverick Security in 2018, four years after MGS4, as he battles the rival PMC Desperado Enforcement LLC., who are orchestrating conflict for profit, culminating in Raiden confronting corrupt U.S. Senator Steven Armstrong to stop his plot to ignite war for a new American age.
