Kate Middleton went with Prince William to see King Charles and Camilla at Crathie Kirk, which is close to Balmoral. A knowledgeable Royal expert said that the couple's trip to the Scottish Royal hideaway was a bit of a surprise since Kate, 42, had just finished her chemotherapy treatment.

This shows how much she and William care about Charles, who is also getting treatment for cancer. "I have to say I was surprised to see William and Kate back at Balmoral so quickly," said Jennie Bond, a veteran former BBC Royal Correspondent. "Their visit shows how important they think it is to spend time with Charles. We don't know if they brought the kids with them or not."

"Hopefully, the kids were also present, which would have brought immense joy to Charles and Camilla." Jennie also talks about Catherine's steady recovery as she slowly starts to do her royal tasks again.

"Of course, travelling as a Royal is a lot easier than for the average person, but still, moving for the weekend and being in the public eye like they were on the way to church takes some work." It made me feel better to see her again. Kate had been honest about how hard her battle with cancer was, telling her family they had to "find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."

The visit came with good news about her health. Kate has been open about her ongoing battle to stay cancer-free. She said, "Even though I'm done with chemotherapy, I still have a long way to go before I'm fully recovered, so I have to keep taking each day as it comes."

On the other hand, I'm excited to get back to work and do a few more public appearances when I can in the coming months. Reports say the princess has been putting her attention on future plans by going to talks at Windsor Castle. These talks are mostly about how dedicated she is to early childhood development and how she plans her yearly Christmas singing service.
