One Piece is a fantasy adventure television series developed for Netflix by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. The show is a live-action adaptation of the famous 1997 manga created by Eiichiro Oda, who also works on the series as a creative consultant. It is produced by Kaji Productions and Shueisha, the original publisher of the manga.
The story follows the Straw Hat Pirates as they travel across the seas chasing their individual dreams while searching for the legendary treasure known as the “One Piece,” which was hidden by the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.
In August 2025, Netflix confirmed a third season even before the premiere of the second season, which debuted on March 10, 2026.
