Wowee, A Halloween release? And a song from the Underworld Saga no less? I loved No longer you ever since I first heard the official song. This and Monster is what fully brought me back into Epic after checking out once the Cyclops saga released (the original one). My ideas ran wild with this one. I wanted to show Tiresias' abillity to see the past and future so I had the first chorus reference Ody's past actions while the second references the future. This is also *the* animatic where I had Ody really be more violent and have more anger issues. Ever since my first animatic, even during the 2 unfinished ones before, I wanted my interpretations of Ody to be more emotional. So he cries a ton in the Underworld and gets angrier easily. Tiresias' colour references Hera due to his stint as a priestess of Hera (long story) and his eye on the back of the cloak is made to be similar to a peacock feather. I also gave him some top surgery scars but they were barely noticable in the animatic. The shades near the end were (from left to right in that shot where they were all lined up) Ajax the greater, Agamemnon, Patroclus, Ajax the lesser, and Achilles. Copying the frames from my Odysseus animatic was a pain cause they were in different frame rates so lineing it up was hard and in different softwares so I couldn't just port it over and recolour it. Looking back, I think my skills have leveled up a lot and I would really like to redo my Unhand Him Animatic soon. Let me know any song reqs for me to animate, a friend has already asked for Legendary so that'll be soon but I'll be taking a quick break from Epic for the next 2 months because I'm getting a bit bored and doing Epic animatics has made me not want to watch those from others. Also I've been reading through the Illiad, it's really good. Homer cooked ngl.
