Kochi | Part02. Makino Botanical Garden is located on a hilly slope with scenic views covers approximately 8 hectares of land.
Approximately 20mins from the city; it is a quick drive up the mountain roads.
1st stop is at a Observation deck on the way up. Which looks onto the coastal area.
2nd stop is at 5tiered Pagoda. Beautiful grounds and specially with autumn colours.
Parked near the main gate of The Makino Botanical garden. The entrance starts with the ecology walkway which leads you to the ticketing booth.
The garden is divided into the North Gardens,
The ticketing area at the Research and Administration building
and the South Garden where the Conservatory glass house is located. We ended our walk in this area.
Had a good stroll enjoying the plants and autumn. Will come back again.
