Norwegian Getaway's Best Cruise Excursion in St Lucia

Описание: Howard and I enjoyed the JJ Speed Boat Tour excursion which we purchased on the Norwegian Getaway.

We boarded a smaller speed boat, our staff was very entertaining. He pointed out places of interest along the way Including a bat cave crevass amoung the cliffs and Margo Bay where Dr Doolittle was filmed.

We drove to the Pitons, famous peaks in St Lucia. Then we docked and boarded a bus to Sulpher Springs.

Sulphur Springs is a geothermal field on the island of Saint Lucia. It is located to the southwest in the district of Soufriere, a name given by the French meaning 'sulphur mine'.

They encouraged us to apply the mud and decorate to each other then relax and soak up the minerals in the bath. They ash comes from a near by volcano deposites make up the mineral bath.

Next we went snorkling at Anse Chastanet Beach. We brought our equipment on the cruise, but didn't bring the fins because they were supposed to have equipment... NO FINS!

So, Howard stayed on the boat & I explored the beautiful turquoise waters and filmed tropical fish and coral.

On the way back, our tour guides brought out the tunes and enless rum punches and Piton Beer. We danced and all had a good time.

Howard took our bag with him to the bathroom with all my ID & Sea Pass in it. I waited at the bathroom for 45 minutes, and then realised he boarded the ship without me. So, I had to talk my way aboard, explaining that my husband doesn't drink much and we were returning from a rum tour. Thank God they let me back on the ship.

It was a fantastic day! Best Cruise excursion we ever went on.
