We LOVED our stay at the Red Caboose Motel and are already planning a return trip! This adorable collection of cabooses is the cutest train hotel I've ever visited (yes, I've stayed in others). The Red Caboose Motel is located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. (Ronks, PA). The location is ideal if you want to explore the Amish country, which we did. Everything is within just a couple of miles. The area is gorgeous, it's surrounded by Amish Farms, The Strasburg Railroad, The Railroad Museum and other fun family experiences. We hired a buggy from the parking lot to give us a short ride around the area, which was great. This buggy is always there for hire, making it super convenient. They also have a good restaurant in a vintage Pennsylvania Railroad Coach. They have a tiny arcade, petting farm, swings and an area to just sit back and watch buggies go by while taking in the sunset. I was surprised to fall in love with Lancaster, PA...but it happened. And I can't wait to return.
