As coaches, we teach athletes how to generate the right levels of tension for movements like the squat, bench, and deadlift. But in ACL rehab, the same principle applies: most athletes who fall behind do so because they can’t create or sustain enough tension. Often, this comes from a lack of proper progression, or missed focus on key parts of the body.
