As I say this was done mics straight into the Scarlett interface and avoiding any additional hardware or software. It is a whole different ballgame when your in the rabbit hole of recording, endless hardware and plugins for EQ, Comp, Limiting etc and can be VERY useful tools to get a better sound from your gear. Even the cheaper or free bundled software. But this was all about just the mics as they sound unaltered.
