Experience an international school in France as an exchange student!

Описание: An American exchange student tells us about her experience in an international school in France, Notre-Dame International High School in the Paris area. She came to Paris for a semester as an exchange student in France. Her goals were to learn French, meet students from all over the world, and discover the French way of life. She attended a mix of US High School subjects and International Baccalaureate subjects, as well as French language classes.

She is an exchange student form San Francisco, California and arrived early September 2019 to spend her Fall semester in France. She is in the 11th grade and likes her Biology and her French classes. She is staying with a French host family and her older host sister goes to the French school Notre-Dame Les oiseaux in Verneuil-sur-Seine. She made many French friends while studying at Notre-Dame International High School. She came to France with a rather low level of French but improve quickly thanks to the French classes and her immersion with a French host family.

She loves to listen to others' thoughts and perspectives and this international school in France allowed her to meet friends form more than 20 countries.

"If you would like to be an exchange student in an international school in France, you should be ready to feel discomfort, and be OK with that, because feeling discomfort, whether it's with language barrier or different customs or really anything, once you get over that, you learn so much from it."
