Fantastic flying conditions at Bo Peep enabled me to complete two XC flights in one day. This flight to Rottingdean on the outskirts of Brighton followed a short flight in the morning to Arlington Reservoir.
This was only the second day I’d flown the Volt 4 wing. It felt great almost immediately. Not quite as agile as the Alpina 4 but I could still turn pretty tight and place the glider where I wanted it.
The glide was way better as I found out after the sweet climb I got at the end of the day.
Landing at 5pm near the windmill was fun.
Thank you to Julie for picking me up so I could get back to my camper at Bo Peep. Such a fantastic day.
